SUMMARY. In soil test crop response correlation studies, the records of several nutrients inherent in soil may generally contain errors of measurements while the nutrient applied to the plots at experimentor's will may reasonably be considered free from such errors. A mixed errors-in-variables model has been proposed for estimating the functional relation between crop response and nutrient components. The estimation of the model parameters has been discussed and illustrated with real data.
