A NOTE ON NON-ORTHOGONAL MAIN-EFFECT PLANS
M. K. SHARMA, N. D. U. A. & Technology
SUMMARY. A method of constructing non-orthogonal main-effect plans of the type $2_\nu/(v+1)$ through partially balanced incomplete block designs by adding rows of -1's or +1's or both in the incidence matrices of the designs, is described. The procedure yields some saturated new non-orthogonal plans having higher efficiency (say 90% or above).
AMS (1980) subject classification. 62K15.
Key words and phrases. Partially balanced incomplete block design, regular group divisible design, triangular design, latin square design, non-orthogonal main-effect plans.
